Introducing The Seven Books That Changed My Life – Part 1

This is the first in what is going to be a seven part series on the books that changed my life. I thought I’d do it in video format. Today’s video is a bit choppy because after filming I realised I had to cut it down to Youtube’s maximum of 10 minutes and 59 seconds.

Anyway, today’s book is The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. If you haven’t read it yet then, to be blunt, you’re a fool! Read it! It’s an incredibly powerful book that contains some invaluable advice. It also contains loads of stories and examples.

The book is by Stephen Covey. He’s authored several books but by far his most famous one is this one. Interestingly, his Son Sean Covey wrote a book called The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teenagers. If you are a parent and have teenagers, or pre-teens then this book is a must read.

And if you happen to be a teenager reading my blog, then you should get this book. It will give you great advice on how to conquer your hormone-filled life. It also gives great advice on how to handle school, social pressure etc.

So actually, I highly recommend both books. Anyway, here’s the video. Hope you like it!

Very interesting start of what looks like a great series of videos. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this wonderful book. Very powerful habits indeed but extremely intuitive; exactly the way I like things to be 🙂

Since you chose this as the first book review AND is one of your favorite books, then you’ve got to check out Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. Good review. thanks for sharing
